Bring the Love

Last night (after lifegroup, and watching the Breakers pull a big win), Grunta nudged down to the 'Cook (a world-famous-in-Dunedin student watering hole) to help out with the 'Bring the Love' initiative. The whole thing kicked off at about 10:30, and I didn't get home until about 1:30.

I got involved with a few others giving free 'taxi' rides to drunk kids walking home in the rain, and we found that the whole thing was really well recieved by the students 'out on the turps'.

Let's hope the initiative gains momentum for 'O' week in February so we can tackle the whole binge drinking issue properly.
