Off to Indo

Yep, it's official, on April 24th the grunter is heading for Solo City in Indonesia on a trip with some of the crew from Elim, to check out and hopefully assist with some ministries at Gadigan and Tawangmangu.
On the way back we will stop off in Manilla for a look at another potential project there.
Apologies for the lack of detail, but that's pretty much all I know at the mo, except that I'm in for some typhoid and Hepatitis shots. Mmm, love needles
We arrive back in Dunners on about the 8th of May.

Do You Wanna See My Deck?

Everyone keeps asking "Have you finished your Deck Yet".

Hold on, no they don't. But let's pretend that they do.

So here it is, complete with Stain, chook poos, and kids having a birthday party on it last december:

Gone Fishin

Today was quite possibly the hottest day i've experienced in Dunedin. Gideon was recovering from a tummy bug, so Jono and Claeb took Dad fishing down at the harbour basin.

We bumped in to Graham Sinclair and 'Derek the Chef, from "Carters Gone Fishin' " The fish were'nt biting, so we went around to see the Groupama 3, whichis being salvaged at the Fryatt St Wharf.

The kids thought that boats look stupid upside down. I don't think they are so cool upside down either.

When we got home at about 2:00, Gideon was pining to go bodyboarding, so we piled back into the APC and headed to Warrington. The Surf was huge, but the tide was coming in, with an onshore breeze, and everything was closing out, but the kids got wet, and Caleb, my white-wash warrior got the ride of his life on a 1 meter shorebreak that I thought was going to smash him. Go the Shagger-meister.
